Oh, how far are the mighty fallen!

It was with great glee that I read two items of news regarding Derek Acorah this afternoon. The first was a notification that he would be performing at The Beck Theatre, Ealing. Now, I have nothing against Ealing, but I took a look at the capacity of the theatre.

600 - yes, SIX HUNDRED!

I then visited his website to see what he had to say about it, only to discover a notice saying,

"It is with deep regret that we announce the cancellation of the March 22nd show at Bournemouth Opera House. Anyone holding tickets should contact the venue directly for a refund."

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! Please pardon my mirth ...
